MOSKVICHI CAN GET TESTED FOR CANCER AT ELECTION SITES

"We decided to take advantage of the fact that on the 18th the Muscovites will go to polling stations, and we are deploying a medical room in some Moscow schools, creating an opportunity to pass the test," he said.

The research will be conducted within the framework of the action on early diagnostics of oncological diseases, which will be held in Moscow on March 17-18. On the first day, Muscovites will be able to donate blood for free in several polyclinics, and on the day of the presidential election - to be screened at polling stations in some schools.

According to Khripun, educational institutions were chosen because there are medical offices and all conditions for taking blood tests.

It will be possible to check up on three most widespread oncological diseases - prostate cancer for men and breast/ovarian cancer for women.

Khripun noted that this is a massive screening of actually healthy people. It is aimed at identifying a predisposition to oncological disease or early diagnosis.
