Rostov will held Patients’ School dedicated to lung cancer
On July 26 at 15:00, at Rostov Regional Cancer Center, Patients’ School will be held dedicated to diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.
This is a free educational event, organized by interregional public movement “Movement Against Cancer” with support of non-profit partnership “Equal Right to Life”. The event is free to attend for cancer patients and their relatives, and for all who are interested in obtaining relevant information about the disease.
Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers and the prevailing cause of cancer deaths in developed countries. In Russia, lung cancer ranks first among oncological diseases. Each year, more than 60,000 Russians are diagnosed with this disease. Men are significantly more likely to contract lung cancer.
“Patients’ School” will help to obtain reliable information about the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up rehabilitation of patients, as well as advice on specific issues.
The participants will listen to an oncologist Vladimir Nikolaevich Ryabov.
“Patients’ School” will be held at the conference hall of Rostov Regional Cancer Center (Rostov-on-Don, Sokolov street, 9). The admission is free.
